Wenger Counseling & Consultation
Our Team

Hello, I’m Ben Wenger! (LISW-S)
I believe that the heart of successful therapy lies in the relationship we build together. Since I began my journey in 2003, my goal has always been to meet people where they are and support them in becoming the best versions of themselves.
My path has taken me through many different clinical worlds—from residential treatment centers and foster care to group therapy and outpatient counseling. Today, I specialize in working with adolescents (high school age and up) and adults. Whether you are navigating a difficult life transition or working through long-standing patterns, I am here to provide a space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered.
My Approach to Therapy
I am a trauma-informed therapist, which means I view through the lens of what you’ve been through, rather than "what is wrong" with you. I am a Certified EMDR Therapist and a EMDR Consultant in Training, which allows me to help clients process painful memories and move past the things that keep them feeling stuck.
With a background that includes a Master’s in Social Administration and an Executive MBA, I bring a unique perspective to my work—balancing deep clinical empathy with a practical understanding of executive functioning and work-related stressors.
Areas of Specialization
While I work with a wide range of needs, I have extensive experience in:
-
Trauma & Recovery: EMDR, abuse, and grief.
-
Neurodiversity: ADHD/ADD, Executive Functioning, and Autism Spectrum.
-
Mental Wellness: Anxiety, panic attacks, depression, and mood disorders.
-
Relationships: Family issues, LGBTQIA+ support, and parent coaching.
-
Life & Career: Work-related stress and adjusting to major life changes.
Evidence-Based Tools
I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I tailor our sessions using proven methods, including but not limited to:
-
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
-
CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)
-
DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy)
-
MI (Motivational Interviewing)
-
TIP (Transition to Independence)

Hello, I'm Adriana Ripma! (LISW-S)
I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with a deep passion for supporting young people and their families. Since 2015, I've had the privilege of walking alongside children, adolescents, transitional-aged youth, adults, and parents as they navigate some of life's most complex challenges.
My primary focus has been on adolescent mental health, and I specialize in working with individuals generally between the ages of 15 and 25 and their support systems. This is a truly pivotal time in life, and I love helping my clients build resilience, discover their strengths, and create a solid foundation for their future as they move through major life transitions.
I've worked in a variety of settings—from residential treatment and foster care to school-based programs and outpatient services. This diverse background allows me to bring a truly holistic, compassionate, and developmentally informed approach to the therapeutic process. My goal is always to foster a safe, collaborative, and empowering environment where you (or your child) can openly explore experiences, discover inner strength, and create meaningful, lasting change.
